    Terry Whittaker

Presenting Topic: The story of 'Dave'

Terry Whittaker has followed 'Dave' in Sandgate from soon after the dolphin's arrival in spring 2006 up to her departure in autumn 2007. At the conference he will be presenting his account of how this dolphin became increasingly interactive with human beings, a process which has been termed 'habituation' and which has allegedly led to the dolphin becoming  more vulnerable to harm.
