    Directions to Dingle

The nearest airport to Dingle is Kerry County (KIR), one hour's drive, which has Ryanair flights to London Stansted, Luton and Frankfurt-Hahn, and Aer Arann to Dublin, Manchester and Lorient.

Public transport from Kerry airport to Dingle is of a third world standard, with irregular connections, journey times of 2 to 3 hours and no service after lunchtime at weekends!  Taxis are expensive, so we plan to organise shared pick-ups for those who request. But you have to tell us when are where you're arriving - soon!

Car hire is also available at the airport . Cost from only €125 a week. Conference car hire company is Irish Car Rentals, bookable  through local company Nova Car Hire at Special Rates

Cork and Shannon airports, both 2-3 hrs drive distant, and again with limited public transport, also offer international flights with Aer Lingus and several budget carriers.
