According to cetacean study group GECC based in Cherbourg, France, 'the dolphin formerly known as Dony', otherwise christened Georges, continues to move around the coast of Normandy and appeared during October at Dieppe, Le Havre, Fécamp and Ouistreham.
GECC appear to be keeping a close eye on Dony/Georges but are not releasing much information as they want to discourage people from visiting or swimming with him.
In this repect they appear to agree with their colleagues in conservation groups across the English Channel, who think that no-one should respond to dolphins who seek out interactions with humans. (Except people running dolphin conservation groups, of course!)
