A day of events have been planned in Dingle to raise awareness in the need to protect our environment, and will consist of media publicised celebrity scuba dive, local beach cleanup (including Fungie's own beach), marine biologist onboard harbour boats, street theatre, talks by marine specialists and 350 schools are involved in a marine themed poster competition to be announced on the day.
Luc Besson (Director of The Big Blue) will be there, including Todd Komernicki (Director of Resistance).
