19th December 2003
Despite the fact that the low tide was after dark today (there goes one of my theories from yesterday!) the group of 10 dolphins which have been seen around the mouth of Dingle Harbour the last two days were back again this afternoon. Once again Nick and Suzanne were in place at 3.30 p.m. and this time, as on the 17th, the visitors came right into the channel as far as the first marker buoy. As in yesterday's incident, Fungie's reaction was conspicuous: he stayed in the shallows by the beach and totally avoided any interactions with the other dolphins.
