Another quick wham bam thank you man swim. Contrary to popular belief we do actually have a life outside of swimming and St Stephens day is a big one in the Dingle diary. But when Fungie is in such good form I feel an obligation to get in the water, reciprocate the goodwill. It’s like a contractual agreement written in the heart, based on trust, and of course it is tops. When you see dolphins in the wild and know how much ground they can cover and then look at the tiny beach we swim from at Slaidin it’s laughable. When viewed from the sea it’s barely a speck of sand and yet it is a mutually agreed meeting ground, where man and dolphin engage.
